Atlanta Autism Center is Hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Near Lawrenceville, GA

Description

Here at Atlanta Autism Center we provide comprehensive, family-centered diagnostic and therapy services for children with autism spectrum disorder. Our ASD services include initial diagnosis, ongoing management, help with communication and activities of daily life, medication management, ABA, physical, occupational, speech, feeding therapies, and referral to specialty care as needed.

Pay Structure

  • $20/hr to start as RBT1 with advancement opportunities to Level up (4 Levels) for an additional $1/hr per Level. ($20-$23/hr)
  • Additional $1/hr performance-based increases every 3 months during your first year!
  • 32 to 40 hours per week schedule; Comprehensive Training program
  • 2 weeks PTO, 1 week UTO, 3 Paid Mental Health days, 8 Paid Holidays including 1 Floating Holiday, Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance.

Job Description

  • Deliver ABA therapy in a 1:1 or small group format
  • Accurately implement skill acquisition programs and the individual treatment plan
  • Accurately implement behavior reduction plans, behavior protocols, and/or behavior support plans
  • Maintain precise and meticulous client progress records, which may include data sheets, graphs, daily notes, anecdotal information, etc.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, stimulating, and fun environment for the client
  • Collaborate with the client’s family and related professionals as needed regarding client updates, progress, behavioral concerns, etc.
  • Uphold company policies and standards of conduct; implement ABA intervention in line with the BACB ethical guidelines
  • Promptly report all incidents of abuse/neglect and train others to recognize signs of abuse, neglect, and exploitation
  • Provide high quality customer service to clients and their families
  • Participate in initial and ongoing staff training as offered, as well as commit to continued learning and performance improvement
